Nicole Walsh
Calista Cooper
An artist and an art educator. She works in acrylic, watercolour, ink, pencil, ceramics, and mixed media – but the material she finds has the most magic is watercolour. Mentally and emotionally she uses the creative process as a way to calm nerves and release anxiety. Spiritually, she creates art to build a relationship between herself and something (anything) outside of. This is where the connection to Saskatchewan wildlife comes from. “I want my work to have the incredible energy the animals of our province and country hold.”
Lisa Whitehouse
Born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba and spent her childhood enjoying the outdoors, camping, exploring and learning about animals. Her love of wildlife is evident in her art and her fun, bright and creative style brings to life the movement, personality and beauty of nature. What began as a hobby, quickly turned into a passion. Her entrepreneurial spirit and desire to share her work has turned Whitehouse Art into what it is today.
Joslynn Stevenson
Fox and Wild is a paper and print goods company created in 2015 by Joslynn Stevenson. It began from a love of beautiful lettering and typography combined with whimsical images. It then turned into an idea to share handcrafted printed and painted items with others. Inspired by the beauty of nature and the written word. Each original print design is created by hand before being digitally converted and then printed, using the highest quality materials.
Jennifer Delaney
A self-taught artist, based in Kelowna, BC. She has been running Pen On Paper Co full-time since 2019. She prefers ink over pencil to achieve depth and sharpness. Her sketches take around 20-60 hours to complete, depending on the subject. Especially loves the challenge of animals because there are so many different textures to try to achieve and each one has a unique personality to try to capture. “My ink sketch line is deliberately black and white, not only so that it seamlessly fits into any style or decor, but also because it just feels timeless.”
